HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam wrapped up the 18th CMAS Finswimming World Cup 2024 Round 4 with 26 gold medals and an Asian record on September 8 in Phuket, Thailand.
In the last day of competitions at the Sports Complex of the Prince of Songkhla University, SEA Games champion Lưu Nguyễn Đức Tâm topped the podium in the men's 400m surface with a time of 3min 8.36sec.
Đỗ Đình Toàn took gold in the men's 100m immersion (33.33sec); Cao Thị Duyên dominated in the women's 50m surface (18.73); and Nguyễn Tiến Đạt shone in the men's 400m immersion (3’02”26);
The young finswimmers also contributed to the team's success.
Huỳnh Quốc Bảo won in the boys' 12-17-year-old 400m surface (3:12.23); Nguyễn Trần San San championed in the girls' 12-17-year-old 400m surface (3:34.37); Trần Bảo An won in the girls' 12-17-year-old 100m immersion (39.45); Châu Hỉ Lạc outclassed in the boys' 12-17-year-old 400m immersion (3’14”29) and the mixed team of 12-17-year-old won in the 4x100m surface (2:57.19).
