HÀ NỘI — The Nội Bài International Airport (NIA) in Hà Nội is expected to welcome about 338,000 passengers and 2,100 flights during this year's National Day holiday from August 31 to September 3, up 11 per cent compared to normal days.

During this period, the peak day (September 3) is forecast to cater to more than 96,000 passengers, including nearly 35,000 foreign and more than 61,000 domestic visitors, and 238 international flights and 331 domestic ones.

Following a directive from the Civil Aviation Authority of Việt Nam (CAAV), the airport will implement enhanced aviation security measures at Level 1, and proactively prepare for peak service during the National Day holiday.

The CAAV encourages passengers to use iNIA app on their smartphones to quickly access information on flights and check-in areas. — VNS
